About Me

Friends For Street Children (FFSC) is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and operates through several centers located in different parts of the city.

It offers basic education to the children in the city so they can earn a living. Handcraft skills are taught to avoid poverty. Many of the children are not able to go to school because they do not have birth certificates to enroll or are too old for the classes for which they are academically qualified. Their families do not have residence permits or enough income to pay for the schooling of their children.

We have recently purchased 40kg of handmade products from the FFSC and I can tell you there are wonderful. It brings a tear to the eye to see them in our office. the realisation of a dream coming true for so many disadvantaged young people. They are taught handcrafts in order to give them a chance of avoiding the desperation that made them orphans and victims in a difficult world. Your support for them would be more gratefully received than you may ever imagine.
